How do I scan a barcode with the app?
- Open the Scan tab.
- Choose Amazon, Walmart or eBay at the top.
- Tap Scan a Product. The first time, allow the app to use your camera.
- Point the camera at the barcode. The app reads UPC and EAN codes (UPC-A, UPC-E, EAN-13 and EAN-8) and opens the analysis.
Search by photo
For a product without a barcode, tap Scan a Product, point the camera at the product itself and tap A.I. Image Search. The app takes the picture and asks Analyze this photo? Tap Analyze and it lists the products that match.
- Photo search always looks on Amazon, so it switches the marketplace back to Amazon.
- A large, well-lit, sharp view of the product works best. If the app can't tell what it is, try again closer up.
- It's included on every plan.
Type it in
You can also type an ASIN or UPC for Amazon, a UPC, item ID or Walmart link for Walmart, or a few words for eBay.
If the camera doesn't open
If you see Camera is off, tap Open Settings, allow the camera for Plug Seller, then come back to the app.
