Which Amazon fees does Plug Seller include?
| Fee | How Plug Seller works it out |
|---|---|
| Referral fee | Amazon's percentage for the category. In categories where the rate changes with the price, Plug Seller follows those tiers. |
| FBA fee | From the product's size and weight, using Amazon's price bands (under $10, $10 to $50, over $50). Peak season rates apply from October 15 to January 14. |
| Closing fee | Media only (books, music, video): $1.80 in the United States and C$1.30 in Canada. |
| Storage | The product's size in cubic feet times the monthly rate, for the number of months you choose. |
| Prep and Misc | Your own costs, from Seller Settings. |
Your own account's fees
Once your Amazon store is connected, Plug Seller uses the fees Amazon quotes for your account.
When Amazon hasn't published an FBA fee
Plug Seller estimates it from the size and weight and labels it FBA Fee (estimate) in the fee breakdown. The FBA fee line in Alerts shows it with a ≈ in front, so you know the profit is an estimate too.
What isn't included
- The aged inventory surcharge for stock stored longer than 6 months
- Amazon's inbound placement fee
- Sales tax and your shipping to Amazon. Add those to your cost or as a misc fee.
