I've signed in for the first time. What do I do now?
Start with these five steps. You only need to do them once.
1. Install the Chrome extension
On a computer, the Scanner needs the Plug Seller extension. The extension also shows your numbers on Amazon, Walmart and eBay product pages. Installing the extension takes a minute.
2. Enter your costs and targets
Go to Settings > Seller Settings. Fill in your Minimum ROI, Minimum profit and Prep fee, then press Save settings. Max Cost and profit are calculated from these on every scan (what each setting does).
3. Connect your Amazon store
Go to Settings > Store Connect and connect Amazon. It's free on every plan. Once it's connected, each scan tells you whether your account can sell the product and shows live Top Offers. On Combo and Pro, you can also use Plug Ungating (how to connect).
4. Run your first scan
Open the Scanner, type a product name, an ASIN or a UPC, and press Analyze. Then see how to read the analysis page.
5. Get the mobile app
The app scans barcodes with your phone's camera, which is what you want when you're walking a store aisle (where to download it).
