How do I find money Amazon owes me?
Go to Business > Money Back. You need Pro and your Amazon store connected. Money Back works with Amazon US (amazon.com).
Run a scan
Press Scan now. We go through your Amazon reports for the last 180 days and look for these cases.
| Case | What it means |
|---|---|
| Lost | Amazon lost units in its warehouse. |
| Damaged | Amazon damaged units in its warehouse. |
| Inbound short | Amazon received fewer units than you sent in a shipment. |
| Return damaged | A buyer's return came back damaged. |
| Refund, never returned | Amazon refunded a buyer who never sent the item back. |
| Reimbursed below cost | Amazon paid you less than what the item cost you. |
Money Amazon has already paid you, including its automatic reimbursements, is taken off. Scanning again right away shows the same results.
The scan doesn't run by itself, so press Scan now whenever you want to check again. The top of the page shows the Estimated reimbursement amount, what's Ready to claim, the Potential total, what you've Recovered so far, and All cases.
When you can claim
| Eligibility | What it means |
|---|---|
| Claimable | It looks ready to file. |
| Pending window | It happened less than 45 days ago. Amazon often looks into it and pays on its own first, so wait. |
| Review | We couldn't tell when it happened. Check the details before you file. |
| Expired | It's more than 540 days old, which is past the time to file. |
File a claim
- Click a case. You'll see the evidence and a Claim text, written in English because it goes to Amazon Seller Support.
- Press Copy claim.
- Press Open in Seller Central to file. It opens Seller Central's case page, or your inbound shipments for an Inbound short case. Paste the claim there and send it.
- Back in Plug Seller, press Mark claimed.
When Amazon pays, press Mark paid. A later scan also marks the case Paid when it finds the reimbursement. Press Dismiss on a case you don't want to claim.
We never file a claim for you.
Export your cases
Export CSV downloads your new cases with their claim text, so you can work through them in one go.
